Hoooked Zpagetti is a versatile t-shirt yarn made from pre-consumer textile waste. Zpagetti is unspun, meaning it has no twist—perfect for crochet projects with excellent stitch definition. Thanks to its fabric composition, it offers a slight stretch, making it easy to work with.

Ideal for crocheting baskets, bags, rugs, and home décor, Zpagetti’s Super Bulky weight allows for fast, satisfying results. Due to its inherent heaviness, it is less suitable for wearable garments.

The pictured gauge swatch was machine-washed (regular program at 40°C) and steam ironed.

The uniqueness of Zpagetti yarns
The composition of Zpagetti is 90% recycled cotton, 10% other recycled fibers (elastane). The textile selvedges and remnants that are produced by the fabric industry, which normally would be thrown away as waste, are repurposed into yarn. The pieces of fabric are processed by the Hoooked Production Centre in Portugal, where they are picked and sorted by hand. Through a rigorous quality control process, the company Hoooked has complete control of the worker conditions and production standards. Hoooked Zpagetti textiles meet the European REACH standards for the safety of dying chemicals.

Please note: Zpagetti yarn is not overdyed — its colors are determined by the original fabric. This means each batch is unique, and while similar shades and textures may appear, the exact same yarn cannot be reproduced.

For this reason, be sure to purchase enough yarn for your project. Once a color is sold out, it’s gone!
