Hoooked – Ribbon XL Neon 250gr

Hoooked Ribbon XL Neon is a versatile yarn made from pre-consumer textile waste. It is unspun, meaning it has no twist—perfect for crochet projects with excellent stitch definition. Thanks to its fabric composition, it offers a slight stretch, making it easy to work with.

Ribbon XL is composed of 70% recycled cotton and 30% polyester. Textile remnants from the fabric industry, which would otherwise be discarded as waste, are repurposed into yarn. These remnants are broken down, spun into yarn again, and then worked into the knitted ribbon tape that forms Ribbon XL Neon.

Ideal for crocheting baskets, bags, rugs, and home décor, Ribbon XL Neon’s Super Bulky weight allows for fast, satisfying results. Due to its inherent heaviness, it is less suitable for wearable garments.

The pictured gauge swatch was machine-washed (regular program at 40°C) and steam ironed.

Due to its production process, Ribbon XL Neon is available in repeatable colorways, unlike the Zpagetti yarn. For regular solid colors, check out Ribbon XL. Ribbon XL Neon is slightly thicker than Ribbon XL—they can be used together in the same project but are not exact substitutes.
