This is a very sturdy cotton yarn: it is Z-plied and with a high twist. The construction makes it ideal for crochet; it is easy to work with and does not split or tangle on itself. Because of the high twist and the plant-based fiber content, it does not have much elasticity. This makes it ideal for accessories such as baskets, bags, hats, that need to be sturdy, keep their shape and not grow in size with use.
